Addition of new datefield in Subscription map of Material handling equipment interface (MHAX)

Hi Folks,
 
I need to add a new datafield in Subscription map  of Material handling equipment interface (MHAX) but when I m adding a new datafield in between the whole process is stopped and the service has stopped working,
 
What can be the issue in this case.

    You must be getting some kind of error or exception message, I haven't seen it just stopping working.
