New custom field doesn't show up in table references

I extended a standard table in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations by adding a custom field.
I need to set up security privileges on a menu item display that uses this table.
However, when I navigate to the security privilege settings and attempt to configure field-level permissions, my new custom field is not showing up in the list of available fields, despite having synchronized the database, rebuilt the solution

    Hi,
    Can you see that new field in the table browser ?
     
     
    Note: change USMF with you own company code, and change the table name from CustTable to your own table name.

    When I create a security privilege and assign it directly to a table, my custom field is visible.
     
    However, when I create a security privilege on a menu item display and select the datasource (CustTable in my case), the custom field does
     
    not appear in the available fields list.
