I created a report for payment voucher in which we also showed data for approval entries, So in the dataitemlink i joined the approval entries with genjournal with Document No field and then when i created multiple lines and send approval for selected journal lines, it showed the data perfectly but when i send approval for journal batch the data in the report for approval entries fields is not showing, how to make this work i checked the table is same for approval entries so why the data is not coming, if the document no join is the issue then what field to use for batch condition, please give a working solution.
In case of Batch your table id will be 232 so on the table id field you need to apply filter of 232 and for Record ID to approve use Record ID of General Journal Batch (232) instead of General Journal Line (81).
This shall solve the issue and you will get the approval entry record for General Journal batch then you can use it in your report.
You can apply multiple filters to make it work in all condition like in table id use 232|81 and for Record ID to approve apply GeneralJournalBatchRecordID|GeneralJournalLineRecordID.
