Hi,

Can the status be updated for a Fixed asset to Closed of which the transactions have been reversed, the Net book value is 0 and has the status of Not yet acquired?

Hi,

unfortunately I do not think is possible per standard, when in "Not yet acquired" is not changeable to other things as fa as I know if not with a custom script skipping validation on the filed (but I would not go so far).

Maybe you can unflag the "Calculation depreciation" and change the name to make it clear that is a closed Fixed Asset:

Hi @CU04091153-0,

If an asset’s status is Not yet acquired, it cannot be changed directly to Closed.

However, if a wrong asset was created and acquired, and you want to reverse all transactions and block the asset, the recommended approach is to reverse the acquisition by posting an acquisition adjustment journal, and then change the status to Closed once the Net Book Value is 0.
