In case you want to know which models are installed on an environment, you can go to the help (?) button in the top right corner, then choose About.
On this page, you can select the tab page Version which gives you information about all installed models in the environment. This includes standard, ISV, and customization models.
This depends on the contents of the model. In case a method was extended, it will just run. In case new menu items were added to a menu, you can create a specific security role that does not include them. Can you tell us what exactly is part of the model that should be company dependent?
