Check BOM BOM: xxxxx Function BOMDependencyManager.applicablePolicies has been incorrectly called.

Posted on by
hi guy,

i am trying to create formual and formual version by using the copy function
then i choose the existing formula version and click "ok", the system show the error "
Check BOMBOM: P800-V0 Function BOMDependencyManager.applicablePolicies has been incorrectly called."

do you know what is this problem and how can i fix it?

I reviewed the code for BOMDependencyManager, and it will throw an error if it’s called without an Item number or BOM Id. This likely indicates broken data somewhere in your F&O environment. Could there be a blank record in the BOM table? I’ve seen this cause significant issues in the production module before.

One possible theory is that the issue might be related to a circularity check during the copy process. Can you try setting the Circularity check strategy to "low complexity" (if it’s currently set to "high") and see if that resolves the issue?

Otherwise, I'm afraid you will have to get a developer to debug the issue.
