Alerts not working

Hi,

I created an alert when a customer record gets created but i'm not getting the alert in the action pane and not receiving an email as well.

I tried Test email in "Email Parameters" and I got the email successfully.

These batch jobs are running each 1 min (even though email distributor batch is not needed for the alert email, because in another environment it's working without it)

Here's the setup

not sure if this this "user federated credentails" has anything with it not working, but when i put it as false, and save then refresh it becomes back as true. But i don't have microsoft graph enabled in the configuration section anyways (but that's the only difference i saw between the other environments where alerts were working

    Hi,

can you check in the user preferences if these flags are activated for each user that has to receive the alert?

In the other environment these two are ticked as false and it's working fine. As these are related to workflow only.

Have you already checked in the EventCUD table in table browser if the alerts are actually being generated and they are just not sent?

This is not only related to workflows, but also to alerts, so you have to have it checked, so that you receive the notification.

When an alert is triggered, you will find a new record in the EventCUD table. I would suggest to paste it in your url part and check if it is being triggered.

    ..dynamics.com/?mi=SysTableBrowser&TableName=Eventcud&cmp...

The records in the EventCUD will be processed by this batch job. The batch job sends the notifications to the action center and\or email.

Once the batch job picks up a record, it disappears from the EventCUD table and a new record is created in the EventInbox

    ...dynamics.com/?mi=SysTableBrowser&TableName=EventInbox&cmp...

So, now we have to find out where it is stuck.

    Kind regards, Adis

    Hi Deldyn,

On your screenshot, the status of the Change based alerts job is in executing state. Can you check if this is going back to waiting state? Or is probably the batch stuck on this status?

If it should run every minute, what is the last start date/time of this job? If this is too long ago, try canceling the job and then put it back in waiting status.
