Dear Community

We have added new content to our "Well Architected Industry for Cloud for Sustainability". As you may be aware, Organization Unit in MSM is not security aware and there are few customers who may want to build authorization constructs around organization units. Unfortunately, we dont have a easy OOTB solution from MSM for this. So, we have to fall back on the Dataverse (Platform on which MSM is built as a Power App) authorization model via. Business Units. Please let us know your comments as we believe this is useful in your MCfS implementations.

It would be great to provide some security visualization dashboards using Power BI to provide stakeholders with a clear, real-time overview of how access and permissions are structured.

Include metrics like user activity logs and access violations.

OOTB MSM dashboards don't support it today. Can you please log in an ideas request to explain how this feature help customers with any scenarios? As this is not available, you can always create your own Power BI report based on the audit log tables or using the audit SDK for the tables that you want to track the activity (read, write, update). access violations/errors are not recorded in dataverse. If you wanted to check the authorization on any record, you may avail the access-checker feature that is available on the record
