Timesheets for newly created Project Codes showing blank?

Hi! We created new project codes that look identical in set-up to prior year project timecodes but the Category is showing up blank (no validation). When I run the category validation report, none of them show up. I went into Category Validation project assignments, I'm going crazy as they look the exact same as the prior year but staff cannot select!

Hey,

Its hard to tell without any information about your setup. Could you check the steps you did for creating and setting up the new category and post some screenshots?

I know it might be not worth mentioning, however, if you created a new category which isnt of type "hour", you wont be able to select it.

2. Category Validation Rules - Navigate to Project Management and Accounting → Setup → Categories → Category validation.
3. Project Category Assignments
4. Worker / Resource Setup
5. Ledger Posting Setup****

Figured it out - the new Projects didnt have categories assigned to them.
