Unable to create product variants such as size, color and material

Hi community, I am using Business Central tool to upload products and sync them to my shopify store. Syncing products to my shopify store is working well but when I am adding variants to my products I am not able to differentiate them on the basis of size and color there properly as you can do on a normal shopping site. Can you please help me to get the products with the variants in the desired way. Thanks in advance!

    Hello,
     
    Use Add Item as Variant on the Shopify Products page in Business Central to link size and color variants under one product.
    Turn off UoM as Variant and enable Can Update Shopify Products on the shop card.
    For extra details like material, use Shopify Metafields.
    If multiple options already exist in Shopify, set them up there directly.

    Business Central doesn’t handle Shopify-style variants automatically, so the best approach is to use Item Variants in BC. Create a main item and define variants for attributes like size, color, and material, then ensure your Shopify connector is configured to map these variants correctly. Some connectors require enabling variant synchronization or matching BC variant codes with Shopify option names. If your connector doesn’t support variants, you’ll need either a customization or treat each variant as a separate item in BC.
