Export Ribbon Bar changes

I have created my Ribbon bar changes. I was attempting a dryrun of exporting and importing solutions before applying my changes to production. I have added Dropdown menus to the Ribbon Bar navigation. I assumed that these changes would be in the Model-Driven App but when I exported that solution my changes to the Ribbon Bar did not import.

Is there another part I need to add to a solution so that changes to a Ribbon Bar can exported and imported in to a different site?

Have you added this buttons on a specific entity ribbon? If yes then you will have to add that entity in your solution.
