Dashboard - View records

I have created multiple views and charts based on the customer’s requirements, and the configured charts are displayed on the dashboard.

The views used for these charts have not been included in the custom application because the customer does not want all of those views to be visible.

When clicking “View Records” on a dashboard chart, the system navigates to the entity’s default view instead of the view used to build the chart.

Is there a solution or workaround for this behavior that allows us to display only the required views, without exposing all views on the entity?

Unfortunately, not. The views need to be added into the app for it to be available for dashboards in the app. I think you used to be able to use a non-added view for a subgrid in the past, but I don't know if that's still possible.

It's a serious frustration point for dashboards. I end up usually doing an embedded PowerBI dashboard so I can avoid needing to add all of the separate views, but since it requires an additional license, I know that isn't always an option.
