Hello,

We are about to merge legal entities, so the feature "Split and transfer fixed assets between legal entities" might be very handy. It was announced for September 2025 and then postponed, however, I dont know when.

As we are on 10.044 and about to update to 10.0.46 I am checking the changelogs and noticed for 10.0.45 that the feature is available as a flight.

Also, for 10.0.46 there is something related to that feature available as a flight.

From MS Learn, I couldnt figure out any date when the feature might be available

So my question is, has someone activated the feature by a flight and experienced any success or drawbacks?

Hi Adis,

I haven't enabled the private preview. In case you need to merge legal entities soon, you can also perform the transfer by creating journals manually or with help of some Power Automate automation.

It is currently in private preview. It needs to go through a public preview before it becomes GA and supported. This can take 3-12 months. In addition, there is no guarantee the feature will be released as GA.

Hello,

I have version 10.0.46, but I cannot see any option to activate the feature:

Moreover, after a quick look at the documentation and checking in the system, I cannot find any trace of the setup mentioned.

Hi @Giorgio,

You have probably overseen it in my screenshots, the feature is being activated by a flight. So you need to raise a ticket at Microsoft and they can activate it.
