Hello:

The general question is when exporting using the Data management framework, can I configure the format of specific fields? Here are the main issues: 1) dates currently export as "yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss" (2025-09-15 00:00:00) while I need it to simply be "mm/dd/yyyy" (9/15/2025); 2) any real data type values I export go out six places after the decimal, I just need two decimal places; 3) where a real data type is zero, they're showing as ".000000", and I'd like it to just be blank.

Applying formatting with Data management export job

Hi ,

Out of box, there is no such option to do the formating of specific fields while exporting the data through DMF. There are few changes possible based on Regional settings > Language on the Source Data Format, but it is not something configurable in nature.

Workaround that i use: Since the data entity is available in the Electronic Reporting as well, so I prepare ER report with same column name.

Here, I prepare excel format through import, and added the entity "BankAccountEntity" on the right side and bind the required columns. No fields were added in model. Apply the required formating. For example, i have given example for date and amount (if 0, then blank).
