Dictionary Upgrade - POP_PO_Entry Error

Hi,

We have a dictionary with a modified POP_PO_Entry form.

We are using 18.3 and are planning to upgrade to 18.8.

Microsoft suggested we upgrade via 18.3 -> 18.6 -> 18.8.

When we upgraded the dictionary with modified POP_PO_Entry, it throws an error that is not indicative of specific failure or upgrade issues.

Please look at the error below and suggestions to resolve the issue.

Steps used to upgrade the dictionary:
  1. Open the Old Dictionary.
  2. Go to Edit >> Options >> Source Control
    1. Provider: Generic.
    2. Create a new Root folder in your preferred location.
      1. Example: C:\Users\10206004\source\repos\GPUpgrade\root
    3. Project Name: GPUpgrade2016.
    4. Temp file Location: Leave it as it is.
    5. Original Dictionary: New GP 18.6 dictionary.
    6. Click Ok
  3. Go to Explorer -> Source Control -> Update SCC State
  4. Open and Close modified forms based on the forms mentioned in the macro of the respective dictionary
  5. Explorer -> Source Control -> Update Index File
  6. Go to Explorer -> Source Control -> Check in, select Insert all and provide the comment, something like "Initial Check in".
  7. Cose the Dictionary and Rename it
    1. Example: Change 1311 Dynamics.dic to Dynamics.old.dic
  8. Copy another instance of the latest Dynamics.dic to the project folder.
  9. Go to Explorer -> Source Control -> Update SCC State
  10. Now you need to update this dictionary with the new and modified resources. Go to Explorer -> Source Control -> Update. You'll see all the files checked.
  11. Select use Index file
  12. Just go ahead and click OK.
