HI

Taking over, uploading, and implementing FA into BC. trying to clean up the module before working on it. existing deprecations were canceled successfully
while trying to clear out acquisition cost by uploading a negative number I got the below error, any advice would be great.

FA Error Entry No. = 2 does not match the journal line for Fixed Asset No. = FA0014 in Depreciation Book Code = COM.
I have the same question (0)

I recommend using the "Cancel Entries" function for fixed asset entries instead of creating reversal entries manually. This is because some functionalities within the module rely on existing entries, which is why the "Cancel Entries" feature was implemented.

    Hey Friend,

Dont try to upload the data through template as fixed asset module having good functionality as suggested in previous replies to do the cancel entries function and other blogs for elaborative understandning and steps.

    Thank you all
Yes, I have been using cancel entries function, after hitting the cancel entries it create a Journal by minus which what I'm looking for, but I get the below error while posting
note that I have turned off all the integration with GL in dep. book. as our GL is correct. and now trying to get the sub-ledger reconciled

    Error message:
The first entry must be an Acquisition Cost for Fixed Asset No. = FA0014 in Depreciation Book Code = COM.

and yes, I meant business central

    Thanks
