"+ New condition” button on conditional content in email editor not working

Hi everyone,

In Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys, when I click the “+ New condition” button in the email section editor, nothing happens — no dialog opens.

What I already tried:

  • Different browsers (Edge/Chrome)
  • Cache clear + incognito
  • Changing language settings
  • Enabling/disabling default content
  • Checked roles (I have Marketing Content Maker/Admin)

    •  

Console error when clicking the button:

Blocked aria-hidden on an element because its descendant retained focus.
Ancestor with aria-hidden: <div id="ApplicationShell"... aria-hidden="true">

It looks like the condition dialog is invoked but stays hidden behind an aria-hidden="true" container (UI rendering / accessibility bug).

Expected behavior: Clicking “+ New condition” should open the condition dialog to configure conditional content.

Has anyone experienced this issue or found a workaround?
