We are looking to move users' ability to track emails via the Dynamics 365 app for outlook users security role from one environment to another environment.
Historically we've tried to do this by removing the permission and deactivating the mailbox in the old environment, then applying the permission and activating the mailbox in the new environment, however something is not clearing down. We now have the scenario where the user is unable to track in either environment as we get an error message in the tracking panel in Outlook, which essentially says it's still trying to connect to the old environment.
I've tried to research this online and it seems to suggest the user has to manually remove the add-in from their Outlook via the Add-ins area within settings but I've tried to do this for myself but the Dynamics add-in isn't even displayed.
Can anyone help please?
