Hi Just wanted to query that through Jmeter Can we post the General Journal?  Because in my case I ca see General Journal created, Lines are added with required values but it is not posting it using Jmeter Automation. Though I have completed all correlations needed. But posting is not happening on UI .However I can manually able to post that. Can u please give a clue to solve it?

What is Jmeter Automation? Are you referring to an ISV or a customization on your environment?

    Hello,

I'm not familiar with using JMeter Automation for RSAT tests. We usually provide the test instructions via .axtr files. When creating the test case inside the .axtr file, we specify the posting activities for the process being tested.
If you are not using .axtr files, please let me know how you specify the test instructions.

    Thank you,
    Giorgio

    Hi Giorgio,

I’m not using .axtr files to define test steps, as my focus is on performance testing for D365 F&O processes. Instead of RSAT, I’m using JMeter for performance testing. Therefore, I’m working with .jmx files to define the test instructions for processing General Journal posting.

As another option you can try triggering Journal batch posting option under General ledger > Journal entries , where you can just run the batch job based on frecuency and once journal is created it will automatically pick and post.

    Hi Arvind
I attempted to use the journal batch posting option instead of the standard posting option, but the result remains the same. The general journal is not reflected as posted on the UI, although manual posting works. Could you please explain what might be causing this?
