Unable to delete emails in Real Time Marketing in Higher Environments.

Hi All, 
 
First time posting so please bear with me if i'm unclear. 
 
I have deployed emails from DEV to higher environments.
However in those higher environments I am unable to delete any emails which have been migrated from lower environments. 
The emails are in draft state, not associated to any journeys but still won't delete. 
No error messages appear, the page refreshes and returns to the All Emails screen but the Emails still appear to be there.
 
Is this standard behaviour? If it isn't can someone please shed some light on how I can delete these emails and what I'm doing wrong. 
In the dev environment, I was able to delete emails which were created in that environment.

    Hi,
     
    You can check if the record is actually deleted in Dataverse.
    If the record still exists, the delete button is not working.
    Conversely, there may be some kind of error causing the deleted records to still exist in the view.
     
    Which delete button are you referring to, the one on the /All Emails/ view or the one on the email record form?
     
    When the Delete button is clicked, a DELETE request is sent to delete the selected record.
    You can check this point.
     
    In the ribbon workbench, you can check if the JavaScript command executed by the delete button is correct.
     
    Microsoft provides an API for deleting records.

    I have two additional questions. How did you migrate the emails from environment to the other?
    And when you create an email in one of the higher environments directly, can you delete them?

    I have two additional questions. How did you migrate the emails from environment to the other?
     
    The solutions were migrated Using Solution Deployments via an ALM accelerator tool. The solution with the deleted emails was being deployed in the higher environments but the emails were deleted in the source environment. Tried to redeploy the updated solution from the source environment but it fails citing 'issoftdelete' is not enabled as a Solution config component. 
     
    And when you create an email in one of the higher environments directly, can you delete them?
     
    Yes I can. The issue is arising from deploying emails which don't exist in the source environment.
