Hi all,

I'm trying to set up data synchronisation from Dynamics Sales CRM to Business Central. However I kept getting error saying "Unit group XYZ has been assigned to multiple products. You cannot use the same unit group for multiple products".

Currently in CRM we only have one unit group, with multiple children units sitting under. Does that mean each item needs to be assigned a different unit group (which is very odd)?

The issue likely comes from how unit groups are mapped between Dynamics CRM and Business Central. In CRM, one unit group can have multiple child units, which works fine internally, but BC often expects a stricter one-to-one mapping between products and units during synchronization.

To fix this, first check in CRM that each product is assigned to a specific child unit (pieces or boxes), not just the parent unit group. Then, in BC, ensure each product has a unique primary unit of measure mapped correctly to CRM. You might need to review the integration setup or data templates in BC to confirm it allows for shared unit groups, or customize it if necessary.
