Hi! We have added custom utm values and want the utm_campaign value to be set to the campaign name. Campaign has been related to the journey and this has been set in the utm settings.
However when sending an email the utm_campaign and the value is not populated at all in the email links.
In Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys (real-time marketing), the utm_campaign parameter is not reliably populated from the Campaign entity even if it
is linked to the journey and configured in UTM settings.
This is a platform limitation.
The recommended workaround is to manually inject the campaign value using personalization tokens (such as {{journey.name}} or a custom field) directly in the
email links, or to pass the campaign name via the journey trigger or Power Automate.
