How to duplicate purchase order lines in d365 fo

Hi All,

I have created a drop dialog form in D365 FO that contains an Integer control, where the user can enter the number of duplicates they want to create.
The functionality I’m trying to achieve is:

1.When the user selects a purchase order line and clicks on a custom button, a drop dialog form opens.
2.The user enters the number of duplications (for example, 2) and clicks OK.
3.The system should then create 2 duplicate lines of the selected purchase order line.

I would like to know if there is any standard method or class in D365 FO that already handles line duplication. Any suggestions .

Hi,

Yes in the standard system there is "Copy Lines" functionality available. Use it as an inspiration.

In my personal opinion, your custom development was not needed, you could have lived with standard application

Hi Charan,

Are you intending to duplicate order lines in the same purchase order? What business process is requiring this?
