Company A in Europe has acquired a company in the Australia region, and we need to migrate the Dynamics 365 environment from the Australia tenant to the Europe tenant. Is a geo-to-geo migration between regions possible in Dynamics 365
- URL of the environments will change. Therefore, Portals or Omnichannels will be affected. In most common scenarios, you'll need to re-provision.
- IF the environment is from Marketing (CUstomer INsights Journeys) you'll need to uninstall before migration and re-install after migration. Some images and data will be removed with this action.
- Default environment is NOT migrated
Finally, you should open a request to Support as some actions need to be done from Microsoft's side.
