We have a requirement wherein we make to stock kits and such kit is having a couple of child items. Whenever one of the child items expire, we replace such child item with another one. This is to ensure that the kit is in saleable condition. By the way, the expiry date of kit is the expiry date of child item having least expiry date.
So is there a mechanism in D365 to identify which child item in a kit is expiring or near to expire to enable us to replace and keep kit in saleable condition. And also please detail out the process in D365 to prepare kits.
