Remove All Roles from User

Is there a native way to delete all of the roles from a user at once instead of having to delete one by one in the Users page? If not, can there be? We have dummy accounts setup for troubleshooting and regression testing. Often we need to wipe and re-setup roles to reflect real users and its just a bit time consuming to manage that this way and slows us down. I know there are things like the XRM toolbox but, if I'm not misunderstanding, it seems like it does more a remove users from roles en masse vs removing all roles from one user. It seems like some kind of multi selection deletion within the 'Users' page would be ideal.

    Remove All Roles from User
    Hi,
    Easiest solution: Disable the user.
Removing every role is for a reason (auditing - history)
I do appreciate, you want quick solution , but the local laws of auditing are not going to forgive it.

    Remove All Roles from User
    Hi VM-18112335-0,

Your question is related to D365 Finance, however there are no tools like xRMToolbox available for D365 FO. One of the solutions recommended by Sohaib is the best and the quickest solution - Disabling the user. However, if you need to delete all the roles associated with the user then there is no mechanism in D365 Fo to do so. Licensing wise, it is recommended to disable the user if all the roles associated with the user are to be disbanded rather than have all the roles removed and then keep the user enabled.
The other alternative is to go to System Administration -> Enquiries -> Security -> User role assignments and then will show up the list of roles assigned to the user and the sub-roles associated with the user if any and then go to System Administration -> Security -> Assign users to roles and remove the users associated with the users associated with that role under the section Users assigned to the role. The above alternative approach is applicable for users you are looking to scale down too.

Hope this helps. Happy to answer questions, if any.
