Hi All,

Please assist, I have a PO workflow that is set with approver type "Workflow User Group" however all the approval requests are going to one direct approver of each sender that is set on the approval user set-up, but I do have another one ( item approval request) that works perfectly as it should with the user having the direct approver, but using the "workflow user group"

Im not sure what is the missing set up in this workflow.

Also note when I remove the approver sender on the approval user set-up it returns an error on the PO with "No approver is set up for this ....."

Follow these steps to configure a Workflow User Group for approvals:

Step 1: Click on the highlighted Condition.

Step 2: Select the highlighted 3rd option – Create an Approval Request….
You will see a field named Approver Type. Change it to Workflow User Group.

Step 3: After changing the approver type, a new field called Workflow User Group Code will appear.
You can either create a new User Group or select an existing one based on your approval sequence.
Assign the chosen User Group here.

Step 4: The selected Workflow User Group (e.g., Test Workflow User Group) will now be visible.

You can also create a new User Group directly from the dropdown menu.

Step 5: Edit the created Workflow User Group to add users and define their approval sequence.

Hi Lucky-Tech,

Please note i have this exact set up in place but it does not work, it still goes through to the direct approver that is selected on the approval user setup, if not set on the approval user set it returns an error.

if the approver id is blank on the approval user set up, it returns the error attached.

All the setup are in order but the approval wont create two entries for two users on the user group, it just send to one direct approver.

The approver ID on the approval entries is only one user who is from the approval user set

Ok I got it now; there was a clash between the two PO workflows and an exception had to be applied to one for the specific location.
