electronic reporting copy format from one environment to another

Hello,
 
I have electronic reporting format on my envornment. it's derived from another format. I'd like to transfer it to my devbox env. I create a new format on my devbox derived from the same fromat as on UAT and it's created successfully. Then I export the oldest version of format from UAT and try to import it to the devbox format draft version but get an error like this one

 
Maybe I'm importing in a wrong manner? Any help will be much appreciated.

    Hello, you don't have to create nothing on destination.
     
    Simply select the node and export as XML from the source, UAT in your case, and import that file into DEV.
    Automatically the format will created and positioned as child of the right parent node.
     
    Mare sure, before do that, parent format version exists and all references must be present at the same version of UAT.
     
    I prefer export in sequence data model, than model mapping, than at the end the format.

    Sometimes just exporting the xml doesnt work, I guess its due to some referrences.
