No, in standard D365FO there is no automatic “Confirm registration” for newly added lines in the Registration screen when serial control is enabled.
For serial-controlled items, each serial number must be manually registered and confirmed to ensure accurate serial tracking and inventory integrity. Auto-confirmation is not supported out of the box. This behavior can only be changed via customization or ISV solution.
Serial number groups in D365FO help control how serial numbers are assigned, validated, and when they are required (purchase, sales, inventory, etc.). However, even when a serial number group is assigned, manual registration and confirmation is still required for serial-controlled items. Serial number groups do not automatically confirm added registration lines.
This is standard system behavior; automation would require customization
