GP - electronic receivables invoices

Working with a company that has customers who want invoices submitted electronically
 
Going to get the specs but I just wanted to get some ideas as to what is generally used by other GP users
 
all suggestions welcome!

    GP's Word Template feature is an easy way to configure a nice looking invoice that can be automatically attached to an email as a PDF (or Word) document.  You can email individual invoices or you can email a batch of invoices where GP will validate the email configuration for each customer invoice.  You'll still be able to print invoices as needed.
     
     
    It works best with newer versions of GP and Office/M365.  There is some Azure setup to safely/securely send emails.  It is especially convenient with a shared email box.

    There's another option that can send PDFs. It's called Dynamics Report Manager from Rockton Software and uses SSRS for all the forms and reports you want. It'll send PDFs on a schedule or right from any GP screen. Then you don't even have to mess with the Word Templates and any updates/upgrades to Microsoft Office breaking them.
     
    If you have an integration tool like SmartConnect, you can make it do some basic EDI options (if that's what you're also asking about), but there are other providers out there for that too.
