Address format change causes error on release to WH: Street/County required in D365FO

Hello,

In D365FO I changed the address format for a specific Country/Region (Address formats setup).

After that, when I try to release to warehouse (or do any other operation), the release is canceled with: “County is required” and “Street is required”.

I can’t find any “mandatory/required” flags in the address format/location setup.

    Indeed, there is no “mandatory/required” flag. What the WHS-specific address validation (implemented in LogisticsPostalAddress.whsAddressFormatValidation()) does is checking every format line which is active (Not active = false) and it's not configured with Data entry only. Then it checks whether the corresponding field is filled in.

    I tried it and it was released successfully when I set the not active = false for the street field (which was empty for SOs that were open when I updated the address format).
    For new SOs (created after format changed), it worked also.
