Sales order approval workflow in D365 F&O – OOTB or customization?

In D365 F&O, can we set up an approval chain for a Sales order such as:

Sales user → Sales Manager → Finance Manager → General Manager

Is this available standard / out of the box, or does it require customization?

Also, if it is not standard, what are the best alternatives in F&O?

For example: order holds, credit hold workflow, Power Automate, or custom X++ workflow.

Hello,

Unfortunately, the sales order workflow is custom.
You can try using Power Automate, but the principle is the same: there is no out-of-the-box solution.
You will need to build it.
