Date picker in header flyout not working. Opens up but not able to select

Date picker in header flyout not working. Opens up but not able to select.  
Seems that this started happening sometime this April 2026.
The date picker works fine on any other date field in the form.  Just the header flyout.

    This can be the issue with Wave release,  MS made the modern model driven UI mandatory and removed the legacy header rendering path and Header flyout now use the high density , layered UI. 
    Though this is working for me in my wave release but i am on monthly channel , would you be able to share what monthly UI build applied on your environment, go to any app - > settings -> About 
    Note the app version. 
    Its working for me with below:
     
    You might have to create MS support request to  apply a wave fix if its not working for your environment.

    I ran into the same issue.
    I think it’s a product bug (I’m sure Microsoft will fix it soon).
     
    As a workaround, I ended up adding the field to the form instead of using it in the header.

    Thanks for your quick response!
    This is one of the app about details.
     
    A few other inputs:
    * using up/down/left/right arrows allows user to get to the date and enter.  It takes
    * bringing in the app into Teams makes the header date selector work.
