D365FO: How to make a custom field on InventJournalTrans editable after save?

Hi all,

I have a customization on the InventJournalMovement form where I added a custom string field (DocumentRefNo) to InventJournalTrans.

- The field uses a custom EDT (no relation)
- It is bound as a standard StringEdit control
- A lookup is implemented using SysTableLookup to select JournalId from InventJournalTable filtered by InventJournalType::Movement

The lookup works fine.

However, after saving the journal line, the field becomes non-editable.
Interestingly:
- Another custom string field (Remark) remains editable after save
- Some standard fields are editable, while others are not

Question:
What is the recommended way to make a custom field on InventJournalTrans remain editable after the record is saved?

Any guidance would be appreciated.
