877Client assign some medical devices to the patients:
Client currently forecasts demand manually, based on the patient enrollment pipeline — expected patient volumes, new practice enrollments, and trends in damaged, lost/stolen, and returned devices. This forecast is prepared outside any system using management-provided pipeline estimates, since patient enrollment (not staffing) is the primary driver of device demand. There is currently no system-driven forecasting functionality in use.
Requirement: The system shall support a system-based demand planning process in Business Central by allowing forecast quantities — derived from the externally maintained patient enrollment pipeline (practice enrollments, expected patient volumes, and damaged/lost/stolen/returned device trends) — to be entered into the Demand Forecast. This will enable the Planning Worksheet to generate suggested purchase and transfer orders automatically, based on each item's reordering policy and lead time, rather than relying entirely on manual, offline forecast calculations.
i just need solution to full fill this requirement in business central so please guide me the setup.
