Hi,
If you are seeing unexpected data after creating a new legal entity in D365 Finance and Operations, it’s likely because the environment you’re working in has demo data (Contoso data) loaded.
In a demo environment:
When you create a new legal entity, global shared tables (like customers, vendors, items) still show data because they are shared across all companies.
Even if you create a "new" company, shared tables will still display demo records unless you manually filter or delete them
To work without any demo data:
You would need to request or set up a "blank environment" without demo data installed.
