Error on integration Synchronization Jobs

Hi all,

I have enabled MDM for item tables in Company A, so that the system will copy the item from company B to A.

There is an error in Company A and the error message also show the item XXXX already existed in the system.

Q1. If the item has been created, I assume that the system will not copy over, and there is no error. Should I enable override local change?

Q2. I still can find the item A & B in the company A, but I don't understand why there is no error on the first 3 lines. There are no configuration changes.

    Hi, I don't think override local change is your fix here. That flag is for when the same field is changed on both sides, it just decides who wins. What you have looks like a coupling problem — the item already exist in A but it's not linked to the one in B, so the sync tries to insert instead of update and BC throws the already exists error. Either couple those two records from the synchronization tables page, or remove the uncoupled item in A and let it come over clean.

    On your second question, the job only picks up records changed in the source since the last run, plus whatever failed before. So on those first three lines nothing was in scope at all — look, inserted and modified are zero as well. It didn't succeed, it just had nothing to do.
