Leads Import not working

I am trying to do an import of leads and this error keeps popping up. Can someone help me understand what's happening and how to fix it?

    The error occurs because the Dynamics 365 database is in an emergency or damaged state at the SQL Server level, preventing transactions from running.
     
    This is not related to your lead import itself and cannot be fixed within Dynamics.
     
    It requires immediate action from a database administrator to check the database status, run integrity checks, and either repair or restore the database.
     
    If you are using Dynamics 365 Online, you must raise a Microsoft support ticket.
