Remove unmanage solution with manage solution in Production

Hi All,
 
Our current production environment contains all unmanaged solution.
 
We would like to use the managed solution approach and hence wants to replace unmanaged solution and managed solutions in Production.

Pls suggest me what approaches to take for this kind of scenairo.

    Hello @jeffgreenrc,
     
    You should install your managed solution first with same components you have in unmanaged solution and than you can delete unmanaged solution. Deleting unmanaged solution won't delete its component.
     
    Moving onwards you can always use Managed solution approach. You can create patch solutions or update version of your managed solution and deploy it.
