Here is our scenario:
Table A: Contact
Table B: Contact Virtual (Virtual Table)
We’ve successfully setup the connection for the Virtual Tables. We’ve setup a 1-to-1 relationship between Table A and B, by creating look-up on both sides.
Why? To be able to quick view complementary information stocked outside the CRM (Table B) on the Contact form (Table A) via a quick view form obviously. This worked perfectly.
We also needed to show that complementary information on different views of the Table A by adding columns from the relationship (Table B). To our surprise, the values of the columns from the Virtual Table were not showing on the Table A views.
Is it a limitation of the Virtual Table capabilities?
Not a security issue is it or you are not trying to filter or sort on the columns from the virtual table?
