Extension Issue

Hi all

New to the world of AL and Business Central, but I have created my first extension in Visual Studio.  I have published the extension and I can see it and it works as expected.  The trouble is, no one else can see it!

I have tried importing the extension as the "Published As" was showing as Dev, but its now showing as PTE.

I have created Permission Sets in AL, but I cannot see them in BC.

I must be missing a step here, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have the same question (0)

    Are they using same environment?

If you publish from VS code then it will show as Dev.
Open Extension Management page and Upload the .app file then it will show as PTE.
But either way, everyone should see the changes.

May I know what changes you have done?

I think I have resolved it!

I did not have Assignable = True in the permissionset file.

Published as Dev (what VS Code does when you “AL: Publish”): great for debugging, but effectively scoped to you. Others often won’t see or use it reliably.  Published as PTE: installed for the tenant/environment and visible to everyone (subject to permissions).

Please also check the permission set.

    Thanks, Ramesh

When you publish from VS Code, the extension is only visible to you in Dev mode. To make it available for others, you need to deploy it as a PTE (Per-Tenant Extension) via the Extension Management page or by uploading the .app file.

For the permission sets: in AL, you must include them in your extension manifest and then publish & install the extension. After that, they will show up in BC and can be assigned to users.
