I have a role that triggers Human Resources license. I am trying to figure out what triggers the HR license.
I read a lot of stuff here Dynamics 365 Licensing Enforcement Advent Calendar - Dynamicspedia and can really recommend everyone to have a look.
Here is my approach, which didnt work. So, maybe you have hint what I missed or have a proposal for a different approach?
Step 1:
I selected the HR row and filtered by "Not entitiled" and exported it into excel.
Step 2:
I exported the Entitled items for both the Finance and ProjOps License. The idea is to check if the not entitled items in 1 are included in the entitled items in 2. The not entitled items in 1 that cannot be found in the entitled items in 2 should trigger the HR license - thats the idea.
Step 3:
In 1, I linked the secureable type, AOT Name, child name and access level form the not entitled list.
In 2, I did the same for the entitled objects and compared them via xlookup.
For my surprise, every not entitled object has an entitled object from the finance and\or projOps license...what am I missing?
