In Example scenario 3: Purchase order created from a sales order
Requested receipt date – The value matches the sales order's requested ship date.

Requested ship date – The value is calculated backward from the receipt date, based on the number of purchase transport days, to the first available open date."

In Example scenario 5: Intercompany order

Intercompany sales order. The requested dates on the sales order line should match the dates that you saw on the purchase order line.

But after MRP calculation, Intercompany sales order confirmed ship date and receipt date will be calculated based on the number of transport days instead of purchase transport days, it is possible the request date and confirmed date of intercompany sales order may be different. Right?
Does it make the date confusing?

Hi,
Yes, it can happen, depending on how Planning Optimization recalculates the intercompany orders.
Initially, the Intercompany SO requested dates match the PO dates as described in Example 5.
After MRP/Planning Optimization, the SO dates may be recalculated using the sales-order side's transport days/lead time, while the PO uses purchase transport days.
Therefore, requested and confirmed dates on the SO can become different, and the SO and PO dates may no longer match.
So, yes, this can appear confusing, but it is due to the different scheduling logic applied during planning rather than a contradiction in the documentation.
