I am facing an issue with VAT 5% (UAE) in dynamics 365 F&O while doing a free text invoice.
My invoice entry is coming as below:
1. Customer balance debit  9.52
2.Accrued Income credit      9.52
 
However the VAT is not coming here and in customer ledger- we are getting entry of 10 which is including VAT.
But in free text invoice voucher we are not able to see VAT.
 
Can anyone advise what is wrong here.

    can you please share some details about the VAT setup as for example:
    - The sales tax code setup, including the values;
    - The posted sales tax posted on the invoice (if any)
    - A copy of the invoice voucher

    Hello, 
     
    There is a VAT calculated because from your case, we can see that D365FO did a calculation considering 10 include VAT.
    In other terms: Revenue = 9.52 and 0.476 as VAT.
     
    Try to check if this flag is mark during your entry (in your case I expect that was selected):
     
    This flag is drive by what we configure at the customer master data level:
     
     
    Concerning the entry, can we see the voucher? Here is the way to recover the voucher from the free text invoice:
