How "Create depreciation adjustments with basis adjustments" parametre work in FA module .

Hi,
Out of curiosity, I wanted to understand the purpose of the boolean option ‘Create depreciation adjustments with basis adjustments’ available in the Fixed Asset book setup. It would be great if someone could give me the example how it will affect the depreciations.

    Hi,
     
    This parameter is used when you post an acquisition adjustment or an additional fixed asset acquisition during the lifecycle of a fixed asset. The system then calculates and posts the corresponding depreciation adjustment entries.
