We need to automate the process of sending invoices after they are posted in Dynamics 365 Finance, so that a PDF copy of the invoice (SSRS) is generated and automatically sent as an email attachment without any manual intervention.

Requirements:

When an invoice is posted
A PDF file of the invoice is generated from Dynamics
The PDF is attached to an email
The email is sent automatically to the specified recipients
The entire process must be fully automated
Power Automate must be used as a core component of the solution .

F&O already supports this scenario out of the box. Are you 100% sure that you don't want to use that and you insist on building a custom solution in Power Automate? It can be done, of course, but it would be good to understand what you're missing in the standard solution.

Thank you for your response 🙏

Yes, I understand that Finance & Operations supports this scenario out of the box, and we are already aware of the standard options (such as Print management / email).

However, we would like to use Power Automate intentionally for this process for a few reasons:

We need more control over the logic, such as conditional sending, multiple recipients, and future extensions

We want better monitoring and logging of the process in Power Automate

The flow may later be extended to include archiving, integrations with other systems, or additional approval steps

We want to keep this process consistent with other automations we already manage in Power Automate

So while we know the standard solution exists, we are choosing Power Automate to meet our broader automation and integration requirements.
