Managing Property or Asset Portfolios in Dynamics 365 F&O

Has anyone implemented property or real estate portfolio management directly in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations?

 

I'm curious how teams usually handle things like lease tracking, tenant billing, maintenance operations, and financial consolidation. Do most companies extend Dynamics with custom modules or rely on ISV solutions?

 

Would be interesting to hear how others are structuring this within the Dynamics ecosystem.

    Hello,

    Out-of-the-box in D365FO, you can track real estate as Fixed Assets (or Asset) to capture maintenance and cost.
    You can also use Subscription Billing for rental agreements and post recurring transactions monthly.

    However, tenant tracking and additional details typically require customization.
    To avoid development, I recommend checking the Microsoft AppSource marketplace for pre-built solutions that extend OOB functionality, such as: https://marketplace.microsoft.com/en-us/product/dynamics-365-for-operations/dynamic-netsoft.ed43ab95-b434-487c-a4be-223b08c22c1e?tab=overview
