I currently have successfully invited a external accountant via the external accountant license as a guest user, which they have clicked accept in email invitation.
In the microsoft 365 admin center, the B2B invitation status is accepted, the account is active, and usage location shows from the United States. The user has a regular valid 3rd party email, that they are using and there are no restrictions on the email.
In Business Central, the user card has all necessary permissions to login, the licenses section shows Dynamics 365 Business Central external accountant. The status shows active, I see a telemetry ID, authentication status is active. The only one that is inactive is the microsoft 365 user account state.
I have invited external accountants before from elsewhere, same procedure, and it has worked every time except here.
The error here is: somethingfinances.com (alias) isn't in our system. Make sure you typed it correctly. The email is typed entirely and correctly. Clicking next yields this error. The other problem is when I try to get the user to login via office.com, they do not see the Business Central app to click. All other users I've done this before for do.
When I give them the direct URL to enter into browser, here is the error: You don't have access to business central. Either you don't have a business central license or business central isn't available in your country or region.
But Business Central license is added to the user, and, the region clearly allows it
Any suggestions? Or is this a microsoft support ticket to open?
