Can't Create a table extension

Good Day all,

I Created a sample table in VS code then I Create a page for that sample table , When I try to create a Table extension for that sample table this error is showing

Error:

"The extension object 'New' cannot be declared. Another extension for target 'ExTab' or the target itself is already declared in this module"

Plz assist

Can't Create a table extension

You cannot declare a TableExtension for a table that is part of the same extension. The purpose of a TableExtension is to extend the functionality of a table that belongs to the base application or another extension, which you cannot modify directly.

For Ex.:
if you want to add a new field to the Customer table, which is part of the base application, you would use a TableExtension because direct modification is not allowed. However, for a table created within your own extension, you can directly modify the table without the need for a TableExtension.
