Hallo all!
I need your advice in setting up the customer assets hierarchy.
I have a customer that installs alarm systems.
Usually hierarchy of the system looks like this:
H1 alarm system name
Primark Alarm System
H2 list of products the above system is composed of
A Zebra TC 52 terminal
B Single Slot Charge
C User licence Frontman
D Mobile licence Frontman
H3 list of specific products with serial numbers (not all products have serial numbers, only some)
A1 Zebra TC terminal AB1234567890
A2 Zebra TC terminal AB0987654321
I assume
H1 = customer asset
H2 = product
H3 = ?
Thank you for your help!
Best regards, Eva
Hi Eva, ALL of the above are customer asset, and can optionally be based on a product. The hierarchy is defined by specifying a parent asset. One way to reflect the above:
In the asset list you will then see a hierarchy symbol next to your Primark Alarm System, if you click it you will see a graphical representation of the asset hierarchy. A work order can then be linked to every desired level.
